Cooking Your CSA

A CSA (Consumer Supported Agriculture) is an amazing way to provide the freshest, most nutritious, and earth friendly food for yourself and your family while supporting local farmers.

Essentially, you buy a “share” of a farm’s yearly produce at the beginning of the growing season (June) and then sit back and enjoy 18-25 weeks of truly local and seasonal fruits and vegetables . And, CSA’s cost less than you would spend on a weekly basis at your local grocery store!

Additionally, some farms offer a smaller and less frequent CSA boxes in the winter months.

I will help you choose a CSA that suits your needs and, with the addition of locally sourced proteins, grains, and other grocery items, I will prepare delicious, nourishing and easily re-heatable dishes.

I highly recommend buying your CSA from the  great people at Kretschmann Farm.  They offer three different sizes and many convenient drop off locations.
